#10 - Kristy Titus

Kristy Titus, the host of Pursue the Wild, is an avid backcountry hunter. She just returned from a British Columbia mountain goat hunt. We talk elk hunting, shooting long distance, being a female hunter, and her recent nomination to the 2018 NRA Board of Directors! (She needs your vote!) Kristy is a great example of an accomplished hunter. She has a never-quit attitude and loves the challenge of a backcountry hunt. Enjoy!

New Mexico Unit 2B Breakdown! Jeremy Dugger is the best mule deer hunter you may not know about. I assure you, Jeremy gets it done quietly and consistently. He is an absolute mule deer fanatic, as you will hear in the podcast. Jeremy lives in the hills outside and around his home in Farmington, NM where he also runs a top-notch archery proshop. Jeremy is long time best friend of Marc Muleyslayer Smith. We talk hunting tactics for my New Mexico late rifle mule deer tag, his hunting experiences with Marc, and challenges he faces as a retail proshop in an online world. Enjoy!

Founder of the Solo Hntr TV show and brand, Tim Burnett is no stranger to backcountry hunting. Tim has packed in solo since he was a kid, now packing a camera to self-film most of his hunts. Solo Hntr TV show has been extremely popular on The Outdoor Channel. Above all, however, Tim is a family man first. We discuss his hunting experience growing up, hunting with his kids, and business decisions. Tim has also recently started the Solo Hntr podcast that is quickly turned into one of my favorites! This is the first episode I had a guest co-host, my brother Jason Wittwer. Enjoy!

Jason is my younger brother and hunting partner. He prefers to talk about killing big mule deer but in this episode we discuss an epic story of his Utah archery bull elk hunt. We ran into problem after problem, including more bear encounters, but persevered to put a bull elk on the ground! Jason and I briefly discuss what hunting was like when we were kids as well. Enjoy!

Marc is a close friend. I have personally hunted the backcountry with Marc. He is full of personality and absolutely knows how to handle a backcountry hunt. Nicknamed the "Muleyslayer" for good reason, Marc specializes in backcountry mule deer hunts. We talk everything from growing up in Texas hunting whitetail to his most meaningful archery mule deer and bull elk hunts. We also dive into pro staffs and sponsorships in the hunting industry.
